I'm Julie Croad and I began my therapy training in 1993 and qualified in my first course, Body Massage way back in 1994. I originally wanted to be a beautician but I discovered I had a natural skill for massage so have concentrated on this and learned more specialised techniques over the years.
I have worked as a therapist from home and been mobile. I have also worked in my own salons in hairdressers and gym's. I moved back home permanently in 2009 where I have a purposely built treatment room.
In addition to being a therapist I also work part time in an office so I understand workplace (and domestic) stress. Because of this I have always emphasised stress relief in my treatments. Even my deep tissue treatment, which can be painful, is done in the spirit of relaxation and stress relief!
I firmly believe in massage as a very effective way of dealing with stress.
I qualified as a stress management practitioner in April 2011. I run 3 week workshops in stress management in which I examine work related and domestic stress, give coping strategies and advice on relaxation. See the news page for information / dates of future courses.
